I am so, so excited to share this Fresh 48 session with you. This mama worked hard for a natural birth and she did an amazing job. Proud big brother is not even 2 yet and already a pro! Love the sweet way he is looking over his new baby. I happened to be walking in with Grandma and Big Brother. They were both coming to meet Hunter for the first time. It was so special to be able to capture that big squeeze he gave his dad, and his face when he walked into the room. Curious and relieved.
If you haven’t heard this term before, a Fresh 48 session is done in your hospital within 48 hours of birth, before you go home. Your postpartum room is a special place where you’ll begin to bond with your new baby. Babies change fast, even in such a short amount of time. It can seem like a blur. So a Fresh 48 session is the perfect way to preserve those memories so you can revisit them when you’ve had a little more sleep! This is also likely the first time older siblings will meet their new baby, or grandparents. Those are moments you won’t want to miss.
