Lifestyle family photography is all about capturing authentic, candid moments of your family in a relaxed and natural way. As your Northern Virginia family photographer, I will focus on creating a fun, laid-back environment so your photos truly reflect your family’s unique personality.
How should I prepare my children for our Photo session?
Most kids don’t naturally pose for pictures—and that is what I love about photographing children! They are honest and raw with their emotions, and I strive to capture that sense of wonderment.
As a Northern Virginia family photographer with over 10 years of experience and as a mom myself, I have learned to be adaptable. I’ll guide the session to keep things fun and engaging for everyone.
What should we wear for a family session?
Upon booking, you will receive a copy of my exclusive style guide. The goal is for everyone to feel comfortable and confident while letting your family’s personality shine. I can also provide you with a list of fabulous hair and makeup artists. I want you to look and feel your very best so you are comfortable during our photo session.
Can we include our pets?
Of course! As your Northern Virginia family photographer (and a huge animal lover), I encourage you to include your furry family members. As long as the venue allows, your pets are more than welcome to join the fun!
Can we include extended family in the session?
Yes! Whether it’s grandparents, cousins, or your whole crew, I’m happy to include extended family members in your Northern Virginia family photography session. Just let me know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.
