I have been offering breastfeeding portraits in Northern Virginia since 2014 because I believe every mom should have the opportunity to have these memories preserved, and since each mother’s breastfeeding journey is unique, each session should be as well. When a mother inquires about the breastfeeding sessions I offer, the one thing I really want to stress is that these are for YOU. When this mama contacted me, we tossed around a few ideas. One that came up a couple of times was the idea of doing something mostly nude and outdoors, in the elements. Raw. Powerful. Uninhibited.
